Director's Statement
With Fish I wanted to address a young woman's depression. Instead of making her find the affection she needs so deeply from a person like her father I let her find it in nature - the sea. Fish speaks about miscommunication between family members, how sometimes it is not possible to reunite despite the effort and how an attempt at reunion can be profoundly painful in itself.
