Director's Statement I wanted to deal with the natural and inevitable separation between a mother and her children. The circle of life is a beautiful thing, but also tragic. We have no other way but to accept the fact that as we grow up, develop and reach the pick of our life’s, we "leave" our parents who become older and slowly move to the outskirts of society. I was interested in telling this natural and simple story of change. In the center of the story is a woman who can't accept herself becoming irrelevant, so she does everything she can to fight it. Rachel, the main character, is a woman who lives in a fast pace digital world, which she doesn’t belong to, and she craves for human connection.
