Director's Statement Like most girls, I was taught to suppress negative emotion because anger and aggression is seen as traits reserved for boyhood. Female anger is dismissed as hormonal, hysterical, or tied to upbringing circumstances. This film is not about justifying this anger – it is about emotions that eventually erupt in unexpected and often destructive ways.
