However, when I witnessed the nationwide protests in Iran in 2022 and learned about the forced labor imposed on individuals arrested during the protests, I incorporated new elements into the film to convey a message beyond the slaughter of dogs. I sincerely hope that no place in the world witnesses injustice toward humans or animals and that war and violence cease to exist.
