Director's Statement This story is inspired from accounts by my uncle Arnoldo Muñoz and his wife, Miriam Salazar. They were nomadic farmers for much of their life, and this movie represents a part of that life. I like to explore the atmosphere of violence through sound, light, and nature. I prefer to suggest what is happening instead of showing it. Also, I work with people that have absolutely no acting experience, searching for their authenticity in their voices and body language.
