Director's Statement
Following the pandemic the teenage suicide crisis intensified, the number of events has increased significantly compared to previous years.
Suicide is a taboo in our society – especially adolescent self-destructiveness–, that is the reason why we felt it’s important to make it a main theme in our film to  provide a starting point to this conversation.
Our aim was to create a film with a young cast in a way that they are active participants of the creative process: we didn't want the storytelling to be simply defined by the perspective of the filmmakers as adults, but their active presence should have an influence as well. We created this self-funded film independently without any governmental financing opportunities in a countryside youth camp where cast and crew lived together for 12 days.
