Director's Statement I hope anyone who sees this film relates to these characters and thinks about how sometimes when we meet people, it might be on the worst day of their life. We might not know it, but we have the power to show them they have value, because everyone has something to offer, even if it is just time. When we find ourselves in a dark place, our focus narrows. Sometimes all we need is a moment of reprieve to find a new perspective. I wanted to explore this through Jack and Evelyn, two wounded souls forced together, that lean on each other for a brief moment. Just long enough to find a new perspective on a bad situation.
