But the universal human desire to be recognised and appreciated makes us vulnerable. Admitting one’s vulnerability, whether when winning or losing, is often difficult. When we face reality - in the case of our characters, it is a road accident - all judgments cease to matter, be it of ourselves or others, and we can hear ourselves again: our fears and imperfections. And then, we can get back on stage and become heroes of the day. I tend to enjoy telling dramatic stories with light humour, turning simple situations into a chain of endless misunderstandings and finding drama in everyday life. For me, the cinema is a place where I can not only reflect on life situations but also allow myself to look at them from a different angle, using visual means to convey anxiety, inner states, and fears, bringing them to the front, giving the invisible feeling a visible body and action.
