Director's Statement This is an autobiographical film. It’s about the last Sunday I spent with my father, before he was killed. Each frame is a memory of my childhood, in contrast with menacing off-camera sounds, that suggest a violent atmosphere. I want to talk about the violent history of my country through personal experiences without necessarily focusing on violent images. I think it is important, as a filmmaker, to detach ourselves of making a show of the violence. My conviction is in wondering on its causes and effects. I am interested in showing up a non-official history told through ordinary characters.
